DIY water hook-up may sound good, but in the end when you use the wrong fittings creates low flow water pressure. Call a professional so you get the most power out of your water flow.
A common practice for people when running a water line to a refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser is to install what is called a “saddle valve” or piercing valve. These are no good! This is a piece copper pipe that had one. They leak and restrict flow. Get them replaced.
Sometimes you do what you need to, but if it comes to using tape and twine to fix your leak it is time to call a professional.
When was the last time you have changed your water filter? This had been a year or more and full of nasty gunk. How water was still passing through is beyond me.
Be careful what you flush... Toilet was not flushing properly and pulled this out of it.
It’s never a good thing when the electrical box on your electric water heater holds more water than the tank itself! Crazy part is that the breaker wasn’t tripped.
